INTEgrated REporting for SMEs Trasparency.
Economic development in the eastern European countries arrived to a point, what happened earlier in the old EU states, where SMEs need to work together with large, multinational companies, need investments from different finance providers and other stakeholders and need to internationalise themselves.
To comply with these challenges they must build understanding of and trust in their business. To do that they have to communicate a clear, concise story of their value creation process overarching their wholesale business activities. Here comes the story to the holistic corporate reporting approach, which is called Integrated Reporting (IR), a product of integrated thinking on all key elements of the business.

LEAD – LEarning And Development in micro- and small enterprises.
In summing up, the project partners would like to create a research-based training curriculum to support small and micro business entrepreneurs in creating advanced Human Resource Management (HRM) practices based on a development-oriented leadership attitude. In our understanding the double target group (MSE owners) will benefit of the project and its results by incorporating such core methodological and social competencies that foster both individual and collective learning at the company level.

FAMily BusinEss Sustainability and Growth.
A former project helping SME Family Business (FB) owners and/or managers to cope with the complex challenges of the imposing generational transition, the INSIST project, produced country reports on the partner countries’ SME FB systems and the findings proved to be much more significant than anticipated. The results of Insist research, outreaching much beyond the scope of that project can be boiled down in two major outcomes:

MentorCert exploits results of the Erasmus+ TRUST-Me project (led by HU) and of the Erasmus+ Certi4Train project.
- TRUST-Me developed skillcards and blended learning materials for potential SME business mentors.
- Certi4Train produced an ISO 17024 compliant certification scheme for trainers participating in dual mode trainings.
The MentorCert partner wishto further develop the mentioned projects refining, developing and integrating the results of the TRUST ME and CERTI4TRAIN projects to provide SMEs with a mechanism to access internationally certified, standardised mentoring services on offer. In addition, the project aligns the business mentoring activity with sectors of strategic importance to the local economy.

The TRUST ME Business Mentor Skills Development Programme is aimed at those individuals who believe in and support SME owners and CEO’s to grasp business opportunities, solve problems and grow their business using both consulting skills and mentoring skills in order to be effective and provide real added value.
It was built on evidence based consulting models, business concepts, and techniques, collected through a successful collaboration within an international partnership lead by Budapest Business School (BBS). The practical research was performed by 3 higher education institutions (BBS, Babes-Bolyai University and Lahti University of Applied Sciences), completed by the insights and understandings offered by a professional association (Business Hungary) and two consulting companies (ADINVEST International and CDM).
